Born in Welwyn Garden City in 1980, he moved to London from Hertfordshire over twenty years ago to study painting. From an early interest in portraiture sprang an approach to painting from life. In 2008 he received the Bulldog bursary and began teaching at Heatherleys. In 2015 he was elected a member of the New English Art Club. In 2016 he published his book, “Painting and Drawing The Head”, which was published by the Crowood Press. In 2021 he married fellow artist Jessica Biggs, they continue to live and work in London.
