Marcos Wolodarsky

Marcos Wolodarsky (b.1999) is an artist based in London. Imminently graduating from the Slade School of Fine Art, UCL, he initially started his academic career at Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, where encountered previously unfamiliar understandings of what drawings and images can be — they can collapse distinctions of the real and projected world, referring to it diagrammatically, analytically, and propositionally. Upon entering the painting department he started to reconcile this approach to image-making with his interest in the act of painting. A magpie of sorts, his interest is to do with the role of images, and, specifically, paintings, in our construction of our desires, aspirations and longings.
